Jorden spent time in foster care and aged out of the system, an experience that has shaped her strength, independence, and determination to build a better future. Jorden is a phenomenal person who now lives with her grandmother, whom she also helps care for. She is a loving mother to a sweet young boy and is deeply committed to providing for her family. Jorden enjoys helping others and does everything she can to make sure the people around her have what they need. She describes herself as intelligent, outgoing, and funny, and she always tries to see the positive in every situation. Jorden dreams of one day owning her own home so she can provide a stable and wonderful life for her family. She continues to focus on her future and works hard toward achieving her goals.

Jorden and her household currently have only one bathroom, and the toilet is no longer functioning properly. Despite replacing a part, the issue wasn’t resolved. Each time the toilet is used, the tank has to be manually filled in order to flush, and even then, it doesn’t always work. This has made a basic daily need incredibly inconvenient and stressful. Having a working toilet again would make a significant difference in Jorden’s daily life, restoring a sense of comfort, dignity, and normalcy in her home. Something as simple as being able to use the bathroom without a complicated process would bring much-needed relief.
