Syruss has been in foster care for several years and has experienced multiple placements before aging out of the system. Despite this transition, he continues to receive support from the state to help him adjust to independent living. Recently, Syruss graduated from high school and began an internship. He performed so well that the business offered him full-time employment. Now, Syruss is eager to live on his own and has secured a place to do so. Although he has faced many challenges in his life, he works hard not to let them affect him negatively. Syruss is also interested in learning a trade, such as welding or mechanics.

Syruss is excited to move into his first new apartment, but he’s facing a few challenges along the way. Without a laundry facility in his complex or any public or personal transportation, he needs to find a way to keep his clothes clean for work. Instead, Syruss uses his longboard to get around town, which gives him a bit of freedom to explore options. To solve his laundry dilemma, he’s on the lookout for a portable washer and dryer that can easily fit into his new space. With this convenient solution, he can ensure he always has fresh clothes, no matter the circumstance.
