Alexa has witnessed her mother and father come in and out of prison throughout her life. Despite this, she still loves her family and is determined to study law, inspired by her experiences as a witness to her parents' ongoing struggles with the criminal court system. Alexa is currently a straight-A student and was recently placed on the Dean's List at Santa Monica City College. If she can obtain a scholarship, she plans to pursue a law degree at Pepperdine University.

After spending the past year recovering from an injured shoulder, Alexa has been cleared to play softball again just in time for the new season! She will be starting on September 4 and is excited to get back in the game. To kick off the season with the right gear, she's hoping to get some assistance in purchasing a bat and a helmet. A gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods would truly brighten her day. As a dedicated hard worker who is doing her best to save money while attending college, any help would be greatly appreciated.
