Kendra is a wonderful young lady who loves to cheer, sing, and express her creativity. She enjoys playing games on her iPad, especially Minecraft and Roblox, and has a special love for animals. Kendra is interested in trying horseback riding and has recently begun exploring the idea of joining Girl Scouts, where she hopes to learn new skills like archery. Kendra has faced significant challenges, including periods of homelessness and living in shelters. Despite these hardships, she has remained resilient and continues to look forward to new opportunities and experiences. She is currently living in transitional housing with on-site staff who help provide a safe and supportive environment as she continues working toward a stable future.

Kendra has faced a challenging year of homelessness and living in shelters. She realized that moving from one foster home to another was not helping her cope with her attachment issues and trauma, so she chose alternative living arrangements. Through hard work and dedication at the youth shelter, she was approved for a supportive living apartment. Kendra is thrilled to have her own space and is doing well in her new home. She is excited to start her new high school and is currently searching for a job. One of her goals is to make her new apartment feel like home. She could really use some help right now to get some groceries and fill her pantry. She will be so excited to get this support during this transitional time!
