Amy immigrated to the United States at a young age in search of a better life. However, upon her arrival, she faced significant challenges due to community violence, poverty, substance abuse, and trauma in her neighborhood. Despite these obstacles, she has shown remarkable resilience and worked hard to graduate from high school in 2021. Since then, she has been balancing work, attending college, and supporting her family's well-being. Amy is highly focused on changing the direction of her life and has made significant strides toward that goal. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, gaming on her PlayStation, spending time with her family, and discussing her culture.

Amy was recently released from hospitalization and is working on re-stabilizing her health to rejoin the workforce. During this challenging time, she is experiencing significant food insecurity and would benefit greatly from a Safeway gift card, which would help her obtain daily meals and support her journey toward recovery.
