Alex is funny, kind and just like any boy his age; however due to trauma in his life he can shut down at times and become very introverted and withdrawn. He has been in placement for a few years and has moved multiple time. He likes to be active and play outside with his friends. He enjoys playing basketball and baseball the most. When he gets upset, he likes to be left alone and stays in his room and watches TV or plays with Legos.

Alexander wants a black helmet to wear while riding his bike, and he was specific about the color for two reasons. He likes to skateboard, and as he put it, "it's the style." A helmet that fits both his love for skateboarding and his bike would keep him safe while riding, but it would also feel like something he'd want to wear, matching the look he's going for rather than something that just sits on the shelf.
