Nicholas has faced many challenges in his foster care journey but remains determined to build a stable future. Currently living on his own, he takes odd jobs to make ends meet while searching for vocational training. Without family support, he relies on his own hard work. Nicholas also struggles with mental health issues, which make daily life more difficult. Despite these obstacles, he stays motivated to become self-sufficient. His determination to keep moving forward is admirable. He demonstrates responsibility by seeking any work available while aiming for long-term stability. With hope and strength, Nicholas has the potential to create an independent life for himself.

Birthdays are a difficult time for Nicholas, who has grown up in foster care, since he does not have the same family support or celebrations as his peers. He wishes for an Amazon gift card so he can pick out something special for himself on his birthday. Being able to choose a gift would help him feel celebrated and cared for during a time that can otherwise feel lonely. This small gesture of kindness would bring joy and remind him that he is not forgotten, while also giving him a sense of hope and encouragement for the year ahead.
