Katelynn is a bright young girl who always tries her best. Right now, she’s living with her grandmother and sister in California after moving from New York to be closer to family. They had to leave behind a lot of their belongings, which made starting over tough. Despite the challenges, Katelynn stays positive and always smiles. She loves photography and sports, especially volleyball. Katelynn would like to join a photography club or even start one herself to meet others who share her interests. She also hopes to try out for her new school’s volleyball team since she's always wanted to be part of a team. Watching college volleyball games on TV has inspired her, and her big dream is to go to USC to play volleyball and study photography. Eventually, she wants to run her own photography business.

Katelynn is asking for a desk because she doesn’t have a proper space to do her schoolwork or creative projects. As a high school senior getting ready to graduate and think about her future, having a quiet and organized place to focus is really important for her right now. Katelynn is a hard worker who balances school, personal responsibilities, and her hobbies like making jewelry, singing, and photography. Currently, she does her work wherever she can find space, often at the kitchen table or sitting on the floor, which makes it tough for her to concentrate and stay organized. Having her own desk would give her a sense of independence and help her stay on track. It would be a place where she can study for exams, apply for jobs or colleges, and work on her creative projects without distractions. Receiving this desk would mean a lot to Katelynn. It would not only be just furniture but a way to show her that her dreams and goals are important and that there are people who believe in her. It would truly make a difference in her daily life and help her move forward with confidence.
