After living in a group home, Halima transitioned into Extended Foster Care, working hard toward her educational goals. In July 2025, she earned her GED, showcasing her commitment to her future. Currently, she is enrolled part-time at a community college in San Diego, balancing academics with career development while working with a job coach for employment. Halima is also becoming a mentor for youth with similar life challenges, reflecting her desire to give back.
