Alyssa is a young woman who has recently aged out of foster care. Although her experience in the system was difficult, she is determined to succeed as a young adult. At first, she may seem shy, but once she gets to know someone, she becomes friendly and enjoyable to be around. Alyssa has made significant progress in various areas of adult life; she has her own apartment and recently secured a job.

Alyssa recently began working at an all-night fast food restaurant, and her shift starts later in the evening. For her safety, she needs a way to get a ride home. She is requesting additional phone minutes so she can stay in touch with friends and family, and she can ask them to pick her up from work whenever they can. Being able to use her phone for this purpose will help eliminate the barrier of costly cell phone service for the next couple of months.
