Maovesa is strong-willed and determined. She is in a group home in foster care. She is working through her trauma and likes to be active. She has six siblings that she helps take care of and is learning to just be a teenager and not a mom figure. Maovesa wants to be independent and likes to do things on her own but she misses her siblings.

Maovesa is requesting a special blanket for her bed to keep her cozy during the cooler months. One that features animals she enjoys and represents her love for South Dakota. She recently moved into her own room, which is an exciting step for her as it gives her a safe space to call her own. Maovesa is also in the process of decorating her room to make it feel more personal.
