To manage these difficulties, he uses different strategies; sometimes, he walks around in rooms for a long time to help calm himself down. His support team is helping him get the right placement and support he needs. Recently, Chris moved to a specialized group home and is adjusting to living in a new town with surroundings he's not used to.
Chris has had difficulty finding a placement that accommodates his disabilities and provides the structure he needs. However, over the last six months, he has found a placement that has helped him create the structure in which he thrives, and he has excelled there. Chris has expressed a desire to return to his hometown to be closer to his family, and his team has secured a new placement for him. Now, Chris needs a bed for his own room, as he has never owned one before.
