Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.

Kay is a special little girl who is currently being cared for by her grandmother. With Halloween approaching, she has been feeling especially sad due to her father's sudden passing last year. Halloween was a time when she saw the best in her dad. He was kind and funny, and they celebrated together by dressing in coordinating costumes. This year, Kay would love to have a sleepover with her closest friends to help take her mind off losing her dad. She would be thrilled to have teepees for herself and her friends to enjoy while they celebrate Halloween together.
