Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.

Kay is a sweet little girl currently being cared for by her grandmother. Last year, she lost her father suddenly, which has taken a tremendous toll on her. Although she is adjusting, she still experiences moments of sadness when she thinks about how much she misses him. Kay remembers that Halloween was a special holiday for her and her dad; he would always dress up with her and take her trick-or-treating. This year, to help distract herself from her loss, Kay wants to have a Halloween sleepover party with her closest friends. To make the party extra special, she would love to have a bounce house that can be used indoors.
