Jaden experienced violence at home and struggled to trust others. He now finds hope through drawing superheroes and connecting with his Hope Circle. He enjoys online art courses in his free time and has the opportunity to share what he’s learned with others in his Hope Circle through the virtual Pathway program.

Jaden is a participant in the HOPE Initiative Pathways program, which provides him with the opportunity to connect regularly with his mentors and his HOPE circle in a virtual setting. However, without a tablet, he faces transportation barriers that hinder his ability to fully engage in these valuable experiences. Having a tablet would not only allow Jaden to participate in virtual mentorship groups but also enable him to practice creative writing and explore artistic programs alongside his mentors and peers. With this access, Jaden can cultivate a strong sense of belonging and foster meaningful connections.
