Syruss has been in foster care for several years and has experienced multiple placements before aging out of the system. Despite this transition, he continues to receive support from the state to help him adjust to independent living. Recently, Syruss graduated from high school and began an internship. He performed so well that the business offered him full-time employment. Now, Syruss is eager to live on his own and has secured a place to do so. Although he has faced many challenges in his life, he works hard not to let them affect him negatively. Syruss is also interested in learning a trade, such as welding or mechanics.

Syruss recently aged out of foster care, and throughout his time in the system, he often felt like he never truly fit in. Despite these challenges, he has shown remarkable resilience. He graduated high school and secured a spot in an internship program, which has now led to a full-time job. Excited to begin the next chapter of his life, Syruss has managed to get his own apartment. However, he’s facing the struggle of starting fresh on his own without much support. Having used most of his savings to secure his living space, Syruss finds that he doesn’t have many resources left to make his apartment feel like home. One of the things he wishes for is a TV, so he can unwind and relax after a long day at work. With limited funds, he’s determined to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where he can truly feel settled as he embarks on this new path.
