Sage is an exceptional and kind young woman who was in foster care for her teenage years. Sage recently moved to Oregon and works full-time as a para-educator for elementary school students with special needs. Her students adore her. Sage is also an incredible artist, and loves to spend time in natural places when she's not working.

After losing her car in an accident, Sage now relies on a bicycle to regain her independence as she navigates life on her own in a new state. A bicycle is more than just a mode of transportation; it symbolizes access to the world around her, granting her autonomy and opening doors to opportunities while providing a sense of safety for a young person with limited external support. With this bicycle, Sage can commute safely to and from work and travel between bus stations for doctor’s visits, classes, and other important appointments. It will keep her mobile as she works towards saving up for her own car while managing the medical bills stemming from the accident. This bicycle represents a crucial lifeline, ensuring that Sage remains connected and empowered during this challenging time.
