Kyle entered foster care when he was ten years old and moved between different homes often, never staying in one place long enough to feel at home. This constant change made him feel like he didn’t belong anywhere and always made him feel like the “new kid.” Instead of letting this instability get to him, Kyle found comfort in school. He loved reading, studying, and doing well in class, which became a safe outlet for him. Over time, this interest grew into a passion for medicine. Now in college, he has dreams of becoming a doctor.

This year, for his birthday, Kyle is hoping to get something special, his dream pair of Retro 4 Jordans. Growing up in foster care, he always admired those sneakers but never had the chance to own a pair. Now that he's a freshman in college, working hard to become a doctor, he really wants to finally have them.
