Rayna is a creative, curious, and passionate young adult studying Media and Communications at Arcadia University. They enjoy anime, journaling, manga, music, video games, and tarot and oracle readings. At nine years old, they entered the foster care system and faced many challenges, including turning to shelters when a foster home was no longer safe. Despite the mental, physical, and financial difficulties of adjusting to life after foster care, Rayna has shown remarkable resilience, working through their experiences with the help of therapy and a strong determination to heal. Those who know them see their strength, kindness, and ability to find joy in the things they love, even after all they have been through.

Rayna has had a very tough upbringing, so having a reminder of a happy childhood memory would mean so much to them. A flip phone would take them back to the days when they had pretend flip phones with mirrors and lip gloss and spent countless hours watching Barbie movies, dreaming of being just like her. Owning this phone is about reconnecting with a part of their childhood that brought comfort, imagination, and joy during difficult times. For them, it represents a way to hold onto that sense of happiness and hope, while also bringing a bit of brightness and playfulness into their life today.
