K’nyia has spent most of her life dealing with the challenges of foster care. She moved from home to home, often feeling unstable and experiencing loss. Unlike many young people, she didn't have consistent support, guidance, or a feeling of security. Despite this, K’nyia showed a quiet strength and determination to keep going. She knows what it’s like to feel vulnerable and to need care and compassion. Becoming a nurse is her way of turning her struggles into something positive and helping others heal.

K’nyia would like to receive an air fryer to help her prepare quick, healthy, and affordable meals at home. With her busy schedule as a student, an air fryer would make cooking easier and more accessible, allowing her to create nutritious meals with less time and effort. Having an air fryer will not only support her in making healthier choices but also build her confidence in the kitchen, giving her the tools she needs to live more independently.
