Mary is a young mother who came to this country and entered foster care at the age of 16. Her son still lives in her native country, and she misses him dearly. They regularly FaceTime, allowing her to stay connected with him. Currently, she is part of the extended foster care program and is actively learning the English language. Mary remains hopeful that she will reunite with her son one day, and she aspires to become a surgeon in the future.

Mary recently moved into a new independent living home and needs some essential items to help her settle in comfortably. One thing she really misses is a TV. Mary loves to relax by watching Netflix and her favorite shows, which are a primary source of entertainment for her and help her unwind at the end of the day. Without a TV, it’s challenging for her to enjoy her usual routines and feel completely at home. Having a TV would not only provide her with entertainment but also offer comfort, familiarity, and a sense of independence as she adjusts to her new environment.
