Allyson is currently in the foster care system and is being cared for by her grandmother. Despite the challenges she faces, she is determined to maintain a positive outlook on life. Allyson continues to wear a smile, even when it is difficult to do so. She finds joy in photography, which allows her to pause and appreciate the world for just a moment while capturing an image. Her aspiration is to become a photographer, specifically in journalism, to help others see the world around them through her lens. Allyson has even started her own photography club with the friends she made at school. She has grown to love attending school, as it provides a welcome distraction from her situation in foster care. An A+ student, she consistently strives to improve and do better each time.

Allyson is wishing for a new pair of shoes. She was recently placed with her grandmother and was unable to take the shoes she had in her previous home. They only allowed her to bring one pair, which is wearing down quickly. She is asking for these new shoes to avoid wearing out her only pair so fast. Allyson mentioned that having these shoes would help her perform better in Physical Education class at school and would prevent her feet from hurting when she goes grocery shopping with her grandmother.
