Jah-na is a typical teenage girl who attends school daily and tries her best with her schoolwork. She loves getting her hair braided, which takes at least five hours, but she believes it’s worth the time! Jah-na has many friends and enjoys eating Takis. She is also interested in participating in the school play. Jah-na lives with her widowed father and receives support from the Department of Children and Families Services.

Jah'na is hoping for some new makeup and would like a gift card to Ulta. She lives with her widowed father, who is currently unemployed. While he can provide for their basic needs as he searches for a new job, he cannot afford the extras that most teenage girls want, such as makeup. A gift card to Ulta would allow Jah'na to choose some new mascara, foundation, and eyeshadows.
