Gabriel is a boy with a heart of gold. Despite experiencing significant trauma in his young life, which has led to numerous surgeries and many trips to the children’s hospital, Gabe remains a bright and sunny child. He is funny and quirky, always knowing how to make his mom laugh. Although he struggled to speak properly for many years, he has overcome life's challenges and continues to thrive. Gabe is excelling in school and is a wonderful friend. He truly is a special boy who lights up a room when he enters.

Gabriel loves playing chess and would be thrilled to have a nice chess set to keep in his room. Having his own set would allow him to play and bond with his mom and dad, practice his skills, and enjoy quiet, meaningful moments together. Despite facing challenges due to his disability, Gabriel’s curiosity and determination shine through in everything he does. This wish would bring him happiness, connection, and the opportunity to share one of his favorite pastimes with the people he loves most.
