Gerald's early years were marked by trauma—he endured abuse from his alcoholic father and witnessed the violence his mother faced in abusive relationships. At just six years old, he entered the foster care system. Despite the challenges, Gerald was fortunate to be placed with a foster mother who was caring and supportive, helping him navigate the difficulties of growing up in the system. Now, as a young adult, Gerald is focused on preparing for independence. Like many his age, he's uncertain about his future, grappling with questions about his education and career goals. Still, through it all, Gerald maintains a sense of optimism and hope for what lies ahead.

Gerald has a real love for music; it always lifts his spirits! He’s been on a fun quest to collect records from all his favorite bands, and now he’s dreaming of getting a record player. With one of those, he could finally spin all his beloved vinyl and enjoy the music to the fullest!
