Zalys is a kind, soft-spoken young lady who has displayed tremendous resiliency during her time in foster care. Zalys enjoys hanging out with her sister, her friends, doing her makeup and nails, or playing soccer. Zalys is beautiful not only outside, but inside, too. Zalys craves normalcy in her childhood but has remained positive throughout the challenges life has thrown her.

Zalys is currently living in a kinship placement in foster care with the family of her school friend. This family already has several children, and taking in Zalys and her sister has created a financial strain for them. They have a trip to Disneyland planned for their children, and they are eager for Zalys and her sister to join them on this magical adventure and simply enjoy being kids. Granting this wish would provide Zalys with the experience of a lifetime, fulfilling a dream she has always had during her childhood.
