Dakota is a kindhearted young woman who has spent most of her life in foster care and has recently aged out of the system. Despite her challenging upbringing, she finds joy in helping others, making new friends, and caring for pets. With a passion for makeup and doing her nails, Dakota loves to express herself and look fabulous. Above all, she deeply cherishes her sister and makes a conscious effort to stay connected with her as much as possible.

Dakota wants a computerized sewing and quilting machine because she loves crafting. Her current machine is worn out and broken beyond repair, so she has to throw it away. A new machine would allow her to get back to sewing and crafting, which is her favorite hobby. Crafting helps her manage stress and anxiety, making life more manageable for her. With a new machine, she can unleash her creativity and explore new projects.
