Ryan is bravely navigating the ups and downs of many challenges in his life. He and his family are living in a motel as they look for a more permanent home, but Ryan keeps a positive outlook on the future. He dreams of joining the military one day, which really motivates him to keep pushing forward. As the youngest of three siblings, Ryan values his family connections a lot. He shares a close bond with his brother and sister, who are always there to support him during these tough times. Alongside managing his schoolwork, Ryan is also focusing on gaining important life skills. He’s learning how to manage his time, budget his resources wisely, and even whip up some simple meals. These skills will be super helpful as he grows into adulthood and works towards becoming independent.

Ryan and his family are struggling to find stable housing. Their current living situation ican be noisy, which often overstimulates Ryan and makes it difficult for him to focus. He wishes he had a pair of headphones to help him concentrate on his learning by blocking out the distracting sounds around him. Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties, his family is currently unable to afford such a purchase.
