Syd has been in foster care for awhile. She lives with her two sisters and has been able to stay in the same school. Although Syd has faced challenges academically and in making friends, things have recently begun to improve for her. She has developed a passion for self-care and has gained pride in herself and her appearance. Additionally, Syd is an excellent advocate for herself, her needs, and those of her sisters.

Syd loves spending time outside whenever she can. She really misses the bike she had before entering foster care and would love to get a new one. She mentioned wanting to ride it to school so she doesn't have to walk. Syd also shared that her older foster siblings have bikes, so they could all ride together!
