She has had a long journey; her parents recently relinquished their rights, and she has now found her forever home. Her adoptive family is eager to provide her with the stability she craves. Mika's smile is infectious, and you can't help but feel happy when you're around her.
Mika recently visited occupational therapy (OT), where she discovered her love for playing with the toy fruits available there. She uses a toy knife to cut them in half, which is excellent for enhancing her fine motor skills. While she plays, she is unaware that her brain is learning and building new pathways that contribute to her manual dexterity.
