While Shawn performs well in school, he could achieve even greater success with the support of caring adults who help him and his siblings. He engages with the adults from the Urban League assigned to his family and actively seeks assistance to stay on track with his schoolwork.

Shawn believes breakfast is the most important meal of the day. He loves getting up before school to fix breakfast for himself and his siblings. He wishes for a waffle maker that would make Shawn feel like a semi-professional chef making waffles. It would make him feel great to be able to contribute to the home.
