Homes for Children CorporationChina has been in foster care since the age of three. She is the oldest of 11 siblings and a proud mother of twins. What makes her unique is her unwavering determination to succeed for herself and her babies. Despite the challenges she has faced, she refuses to give up or let her past define her future. China believes that even though CPS has not always treated her fairly, her life still has purpose and meaning. She has been motivating herself and pushing forward since she was 12 years old, and she continues to do so every day. More than anything, she hopes to have a stronger support system to help her reach her goals and build a better future for her family.
China is eager to complete her driver’s education so she can gain more independence and create better opportunities for herself and her family. She feels that not having her license has caused her to miss out on many important experiences. With college starting in January, reliable transportation will be essential for attending classes, taking her kids to daycare, and getting to work. Learning to drive will make daily life much easier and give her a greater sense of freedom and responsibility. China is deeply motivated to achieve her goals and provide stability for her children. Receiving assistance with her driver’s education would mean the world to her and bring her one step closer to realizing her dreams.
