AcademySTAYRosy entered extended foster care as a teenager and aged out at the end of 2024. Since moving into AcademySTAY, Rosy has been focused on her goals: gaining job skills, saving money. She brings a calm, determined presence to the community and is working hard to develop the life skills she didn’t have the chance to learn earlier. She’s currently taking classes at the local community college and looking for part-time work to build experience and stability. Her next chapter is just beginning.
Rosy is focused on building her independent living skills, applying for jobs, and planning for trade school. However, at the moment, she has no income, and even minor expenses can feel like significant obstacles. This gift would provide her with the flexibility to meet basic needs, such as hygiene supplies, while she works towards establishing a more stable foundation. It would alleviate some of her daily stress and allow her to concentrate on her long-term goals.
