Alurah is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She is also incredibly resilient. Having gone through foster care, she has thrived and worked hard to create a better life for herself. She is a full-time environmental studies student and a truly bright light.

Alurah has been feeling insecure about the clothes she currently wears, which has made her hesitant to spend time with friends. She often avoids social outings because she feels embarrassed about her appearance. Alurah wants to feel more comfortable and confident in her clothing so she can enjoy spending time with others and strengthen her friendships. She is currently living independently in a transitional foster home and does not have family support. Although she is eager to build new connections, she has found it challenging to do so. Receiving a Target gift card would help Alurah purchase more clothes that make her feel more confident, empowering her to engage socially, meet new people, and reconnect with friends she already has.
