Alurah is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. She is also incredibly resilient. Having gone through foster care, she has thrived and worked hard to create a better life for herself. She is a full-time environmental studies student and a truly bright light.

Alurah is a young woman who is juggling school and looking for a job. This year, she really wants to focus on getting healthier, both mentally and physically. She’s eager to get into sports and be more active, but she doesn’t have the right shoes for indoor activities. She’s had her eye on a specific pair for a while but hasn't been able to afford them. Getting the right shoes would help her with her fitness goals and make her feel more confident and motivated to try new things and build healthy habits.
