David has been in the foster care system for several years, and the agency is diligently seeking a permanent home for him. Despite his lengthy time in foster care, David is thriving both academically and socially. He attends an early college program and maintains a 4.0 GPA. Moreover, David actively participates in community activities through 4-H and plans to attend Governor’s School this summer. He has expressed a strong desire to attend either the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or Duke University, with a focus on Marketing and Business. David is a confident advocate for himself and consistently strives for normalcy within the foster care system. The agency supports him in advocating for himself and others by providing opportunities such as attending Governor’s School and serving as a page for the Governor.

David is currently enrolled in Early College, where he is taking on additional community activities. To succeed in managing his assignments and projects, a more advanced laptop would be extremely beneficial. This new technology would enhance his efficiency and ability to stay organized. Plus, it would allow him to expand his involvement in his current community activities. Overall, upgrading his laptop would provide him with the tools needed to thrive both academically and socially.
