City Living NYDeidre is a hardworking young woman and a loving mother. She was recently approved for her first apartment and is extremely excited to have a safe environment to raise her daughter. Deidre is currently enrolled in an associate's program with the long-term goal of working in the mental health field. In her spare time, she hangs out with her sisters or dotes on her daughter.
Deidre relies on food stamps to put food on the table for her and her daughter. She is currently attending school to get a stable, long-term job. Due to the ongoing government shutdown, Deidre does not know how she will be able to purchase food without food stamps being distributed in November. She doesn't have time in her schedule to find work and doesn't have the funds to buy food without food stamps. Granting this wish will literally help Deidre put food on the table during this busy holiday season.
