Breanna has a contagious smile that brightens up any room she enters. Currently, she lives in a hotel with her mom as they await safe and secure housing. Her mom has endured a lifetime of trauma from violence, but she is resolute in providing Breanna with better opportunities and support to help her build a positive future. Inspired by her experiences, Breanna aspires to become a police officer one day, aiming to help others and ensure that children know they are safe. With her vibrant personality, Breanna is curious about the world around her and expresses herself through colorful bows in her braids. She is incredibly compassionate, always the first to lend a hand to someone who seems sad or alone. Her love for school and making new friends shines through in her daily interactions, making her not only a joy to be around but also a beacon of hope for those in her community.

Breanna is an active and inspiring teenager who loves running, hiking, and swimming. She has been fortunate to have teachers who assist her in covering the sports fees for the running club. She enjoys hiking with the HOPE Initiative and has received a scholarship to swim at the local YMCA. Despite facing mental health challenges in the past due to loss and grief from violence, she has shown incredible resilience. Currently, Breanna is focused on doing well in school and has asked for one simple thing: healthy snacks that she can keep in her gym bag for when she needs a quick pick-me-up, as her grandmother struggles to afford the basics.
