Therapeutic Interagency ProgramAddisyn is a sweet little girl who experienced a great deal of physical abuse as a baby and toddler. She was removed from the care of her parents and placed with a relative who then overdosed, which led Addisyn to move again. She is easily frightened and has a hard time warming up to new people and feeling safe, and she tends to prefer to be alone rather than with others. She enjoys watching shows with singing and dancing and lots of colorful animation, and she loves to snuggle up to her favorite stuffed animals.
Addisyn has had so many changes and has witnessed so many scary things. She is in a safe home now, but is feeling very anxious when they have to go new places. She has been developing a habit of chewing on her shirt, and having these chewing necklaces would be a big help so that she can have a safe item to help her with her sensory needs.
