Sakai is a triplet, and he and his brothers have faced a traumatic few years. Their mother passed away unexpectedly, and their father was abusive towards them. They had no family willing to take in all three boys, so they have now been placed in their third foster home in the last two years. Sakai is very loving and caring; he often takes on a parental role for his triplet brothers. He is working on managing his anger related to his personal traumas and has adjusted remarkably well to his newest home.

Sakai and his triplet brothers have always dreamed of racing dirt bikes. Growing up, their circumstances prevented them from ever having the chance to ride. However, at their new foster home, they found plenty of space and freedom to explore. Excitedly, all three boys expressed their wish to have dirt bikes of their own. This newfound opportunity ignited their passion for adventure and racing.
