Sakai is a triplet, and he and his brothers have faced a traumatic few years. Their mother passed away unexpectedly, and their father was abusive towards them. They had no family willing to take in all three boys, so they have now been placed in their third foster home in the last two years. Sakai is very loving and caring; he often takes on a parental role for his triplet brothers. He is working on managing his anger related to his personal traumas and has adjusted remarkably well to his newest home.

Sakai loves reading and watching TV shows. As a triplet, he often finds it challenging to decide who gets to choose which TV show to watch. He wishes he had a tablet of his own to help him relax during his downtime.
