Ashanti is a bright and energetic young girl currently placed in the loving care of her maternal grandmother, where she continues to thrive and make steady developmental progress. She has adjusted well to her home environment and enjoys a strong, nurturing bond with her grandmother. Ashanti is learning to speak in more complete sentences and shows great enthusiasm when communicating and engaging in conversations. Ashanti has a joyful and curious personality—she loves to explore, play outdoors, and interact with others. She especially enjoys playing with her friends at the park, coloring, and building with her blocks. Ashanti is eager to learn new skills and takes pride in her accomplishments, no matter how small.

Ashanti saw a friend at the park riding a scooter and became very interested in having one of her own. Having a scooter would allow her to learn a new skill and spend more time playing outdoors. This would also encourage her to engage in physical activity, build confidence, and enjoy social interactions with friends in the neighborhood. Being able to join in on activities like this would be exciting and meaningful for her, as it supports both her development and her sense of belonging.
