Jaden has been in foster care since the age of 16. He initially was placed with relatives, but when that did not work out, Jaden became homeless. He couch surfed among various friends for months upon turning 18 until he was able to secure his placement and his own apartment in a transitional housing program. In his apartment, he has all his basic necessities and needs met. He is enrolled in college and pursuing a degree in computer science.

Jaden is currently attending college, where he is pursuing a degree in computer science. He is also in the process of searching for a part-time job. Although Jaden is excelling in his studies, he misses being able to game online with his friends during his free time. He lives alone in an apartment within a transitional housing program, which can sometimes feel lonely, especially since he doesn't live close to his friends or family. Being able to connect with his friends and his out-of-state cousins would help ease his loneliness. It would allow him to reconnect with family through a fun activity and enable him to socialize with friends outside of school as well.
