Wellroot Family ServicesAlana, who has been in and out of foster care since age 11 due to an abusive home, found stability with a caring foster family. However, after the home became too crowded, she ended up sleeping in her car and staying in motels. She has now joined a transitional living program, putting her pride aside to seek help. A skilled and hard-working young lady, Alana enjoys crafts and educational conversations. To relieve stress, she goes for drives, listens to music, and takes walks. Alana aspires to become a 911 dispatcher and is actively working toward that goal.
Alana is studying auto mechanics and has a deep passion for cars. She works at an auto shop, combining her hobby, education, and career. Recently, Alana worked hard and purchased her dream car. However, there is still a lot of work to be done to get it into top shape. She has been learning valuable life lessons while fixing up her ride. A drill will help her tackle minor repairs, such as changing tires, replacing rims, and drilling a hole in her trunk to drain pooling water caused by the weather.
