Darla is experiencing a lot of anxiety and is having a difficult time. She is sweet and quiet, and serves as a good role model for her two younger siblings, all of whom have had their parents' rights terminated. Darla loves to read and listen to music. She wants to get a job but is waiting until she moves in with her relatives to determine where to apply.

Darla misses her family and would love to have an instant camera to take pictures of herself and her sister. She plans to send these pictures to her family, which is very important to her. Darla also wants to include some of the pictures in the Christmas stockings she will be mailing to them. This will help her feel better about being separated from her family during the holidays.
