Kenia has faced numerous challenges in her life and experienced foster care. She deeply cares about her family and roots, often expressing how much she misses her home country of El Salvador and the family she left behind. Kenia has a strong bond with her little sister, whom she helped raise, and she remains a steadfast support for her sister while navigating the foster care system. Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Kenia continues to set goals for her future and aspires to become a lawyer so she can advocate for children who have experienced similar circumstances. To cope with the various challenges she faces, Kenia enjoys playing softball and engaging in art activities.

Kenia enjoys styling her nails in fun and creative ways! For Christmas, she asked for a nail kit so that she could design her own nails and also do her foster sisters' nails, as they all live in the same home. Kenia is very artistic, and she expresses this talent across several platforms, including her nails. While living with her mother, Kenia couldn't afford to get her nails done or buy the products to do them herself. However, she is looking forward to doing her mother's nails during visitation as a way to bond and showcase her artistic skills!
