Elijah is in a transitional living program. He desires to earn a bachelor's degree in marine biology and pursue a master's degree. Although he reported having certain learning disabilities yet he persevered each day by requesting help. In his spare time, he is an online gamer with a small following. However, he hopes to expand his hobby into something more lucrative by giving. game play-by-play in his own style. He is also a fantastic cook, learning how to make healthy versions of his favorite homestyle foods. This young man is so intelligent and well spoken that you forget you're speaking to a younger person. He presents much insight into his world around him and what he perceives daily as he strives to improve his future self.

During a recent trip to visit family, Elijah took public transportation with a case full of his favorite video games. Unfortunately, someone managed to take the case from his bag during the journey. Since then, he has felt lost without his favorite online game. When asked what he would like for Christmas, he said he would be incredibly grateful if someone could buy him a Super Mario video game he lost.
