1999 CollectiveEsther is a mother of two who aged out of the foster care system. Since then, she has worked hard to build stability and independence for herself and her children. Her journey has not been easy, but through every setback, Esther continues to show determination, courage, and love for her family. After experiencing a period of homelessness, Esther recently secured housing, a major step toward creating a safe and consistent home for her children. She takes great pride in her progress and remains focused on building a better future.
After spending months sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor, Esther recently received a donated mattress from a kind community member. Having a real mattress has already made a big difference, but she still needs a bed frame to complete her setup. A bed frame would lift her mattress off the floor, helping her sleep more comfortably while keeping her space clean and organized. For Esther, this isn’t just about furniture, it’s about dignity, rest, and feeling truly at home after years of instability.
