A sensory barrel chair for Trey who's autistic and craves sensory experiences
Trey, 4 years old, OH
Wish submitted by:
The Buckeye RanchTrey was found by a good samaritan after he wandered from his biological family's home as a young preschooler. Being autistic and nonverbal, sweet Trey loves to explore the big world around him, but sometimes that world is scary and changing without warning. Snuggling with someone who cares is one of the only things that soothes and calms his little mind.
Trey, who has autism and is nonverbal, craves soothing sensory experiences. The sensory barrel chair is perfect for him, as it provides an outlet for his energy when he chooses to use it to roll around. When he wants to curl up, the chair can feel like a warm hug, offering him comfort. This design caters specifically to his unique sensory needs. Overall, the chair serves as a safe space for him to relax and find peace.
The Buckeye Ranch requests this wish for Trey.
