Jason lives in an informal kinship care arrangement with his grandmother and brothers. Jason's parent is working on sobriety and has asked his mother to take care of his children while he is in treatment. This is not through the state, so there is little financial assistance. Jason is a sensory seeker who looks for places to meet his sensory needs. He loves daycare and his friends that he has made. He also loves watching Paw Patrol and playing with his neighbors riding his trike. Jason has had a lot of trauma in his life, but everyone describes him as a happy little guy who loves to make people laugh.

Jason is a bright and playful little boy who finds comfort and joy in the ball pit at daycare. His grandmother shared that having ball pit balls at home would make his Christmas incredibly special. Jason has been experiencing increased sensory challenges, especially after moving in with his grandparents and feeling unsure about why he can’t be with his dad. Having plenty of colorful ball pit balls would create a calming, safe, and fun space for Jason where he can relax and feel secure. This simple sensory gift would bring him hours of happiness and help make his Christmas truly magical.
